This is my first blog post so I figured sharing my workspace would be a good start. Workspace is important for creatives. Although I love working in local coffee shops, it’s important to have a space at home for when you need it. Let’s face it, working on the couch while watching TV is just not the same as focusing at a desk with no distractions.

My workspace currently consists of my desk and file cabinet. I’d love to expand that one day but apartment living calls for limited space. I found the desk at World Market, and I couldn’t find it online but I’ve linked a similar one here.

I love creating a warm and inviting space. Candles, plants, and music usually do this for me. Keeping things clean and organized is also essential for me, but some people work well in chaos, so to each their own!

I absolutely LOVE this file cabinet from IKEA. It’s the Alex drawer unit and I love it because it’s large enough for big paper and the multiple drawers allow for organizing all of my tools. The ODGER chair is from IKEA as well. Super comfy.
